Yahoo!!! I made it through the first repeat of this blanket. I am still liking this enough to actually continue it. Since it is not a boring pattern - it makes for an interesting knitting. I really like this and actually want to finish this. I think i will back this with a polka dotted cotton backing. I have no desire for anyone to pull any of the strings asking what is this and pulling the strings the wrong way and messing up the blanket. I can't say that the reaction would be good - but definitely involuntary. What are y'all knitting? I know that I am not the only one who happens to be knitting right now.

I am knitting yet another Beret because my daughter lost the last one. I can't wait to finish because I need to jump into some baby knits and for one of the blankets I need to learn how to crochet - ugh. Which means I might be looking for another pattern.
I saw this pattern in the book & loved it. Yours is coming out gorgeous!
